A Youth-run Quarterly Online Zine

Submissions for Issue #2 are open!

Submission Guidelines:

1. Themes for submission - Human Rights & Social Justice

2. Format for Submitting your work: 
  • Written Word Submission - Poetry, Fiction, Non-Fiction
  • Visual Submission - Artwork, Photographs, etc.

3. Word Count - 500-2,500 (for prose submissions); 20 - 1000 (for poetry submissions)

4. Multiple submissions are allowed.
5. There is no age limit or country-wise restrictions for the submission. 
 
6. There is no participation or submission fees involved.

7. Simultaneous submissions are not allowed. Previously published work is allowed as long as the rights of any other publishers is not infringed. If you're submitting a previously published work, we encourage you to take permission from any parties thus involved.

8. Submit your work in the form of a Word Document to thecreativezine@gmail.com. The subject line should read "Opine Magos Submission." Make sure to include your name, age, city/country, title of the submission, and an optional cover letter/resume along with the submission. We also recommend you to attach a short bio of not more than 150 words to publish along with your piece, in the online zine.
9. The submission deadline for our Spring issue is March 25.
 
10. Once we select your work for Opine Magos, we will acquire the right to publish and promote you and your work through the online platforms (website and social media handles) of The Creative Zine  and Opine Magos. All the rights will be retained to the author upon publication.
11. Our submissions window will remain open from January 1 to December 31. Since we are a quarterly magazine, we will publish three times a year.

January 1 - April 25: Issue #2
May 1 - August 25: Issue #3
September 1 -  December 25: Issue #4
