Submissions

General Guidelines

We accept all our submissions at our email address thecreativezine@gmail.com in PDF format. Kindly include your brief bio in the third person along with your submission. Remember to include a title and a category for each piece!

We aim to provide quick responses, usually within two weeks of receiving your submissions.

Simultaneous submissions are not accepted.

​

Previously published work can be accepted.

Any genre accepted. Though we're not looking for a specific sort of submission, works related to displaying human rights will be given a significant attention.

The Creative Zine only asks for the right to publish your work and keep it archived on our website. All ownership remains with of the author, who may choose to republish the work anywhere at any time. We are a non-paying outlet.​

​

We do not tolerate work that contains racist, sexist, homophobic, ableist, or otherwise discriminatory content; such pieces will be automatically rejected.

Submissions are always welcomed for I Write For Change blog.

Fiction Guidelines

We accept general short fiction between 1000 - 3000 words.

Poetry Guidelines

Maximum three poems accepted in any form, style, or theme. We are also open to poems written in languages besides English, but when submitting these please also include an English translation.

Non-Fiction Guidelines

We accept non-fiction pieces (autobiographical, memoir, essays, articles, etc.) ranging anywhere between the word limit of 1000 - 3000.

Visual Submission Guidelines

All mediums are accepted (drawings, digital art, paintings, architecture, photography, etc.)

If there is anything that you would like to submit other than the abovementioned forms, pitch it to us on our aforementioned email!
