The Creative Zine was founded by Harsimran Kaur, an artist and teen writer. The team consists of the following members:

Harsimran Kaur, Editor-in-Chief
Harsimran Kaur is a recent high school grad from Punjab, India. She currently works as an editor-in-chief for The Creative Zine. Her writing appears in Jellyfish Review, BULL, In Parenthesis, Milk Candy Review, Big Windows Review, Hobart After Dark, CHEAP POP, Okay Donkey Magazine, JMWW, and elsewhere. An alumnx of The Adroit Journal Summer Mentorship Program, Kenyon Review Young Writers Winter Online Workshop, and The Stanford Daily Summer Journalism Workshop, her work has been recognized by Oxford Press India, La Sierra University, IHRAF, the Royal Commonwealth Society and the New York Times. Venya Sharma, Poetry Reader
Venya Sharma is a passionate 14 year old from India who loves all things arts and advocacy! She is highly imaginative and writes her own stories and poetry as well. She is a dancer, singer, actor, songwriter and a basketball player. She loves animals and follows a vegan lifestyle too.
Ananta Bhairali, Prose Reader
Ananta Bhairali is a 16 year old high school student from Noida, India who adores cinema and all things art. She is an avid lover of films as well as the effort that goes behind it. A philomath, she enjoys having deep conversations and learning new things everyday.
Pavni Behl, Poetry Reader
Pavni Behl is a 16 year old high school student from India who cherishes psychology and English the most. She loves to pen down her feelings in the form of poems and stories. As of now, she's learning Kathak, an Indian dance form. She loves exploring things that piques her curiosity.
